In one version of the folk tale Stone Soup, traveling monks set out to answer the question, “ What makes one happy?”  After arriving in a village where everyone contributes their individual ingredients to a magnificent pot of soup for all to share, their conclusion is, “ …sharing makes us all richer. To be happy is as simple as making stone soup.”

As in the folk tale Stone Soup, a sharing of “ingredients” from over 60 artisans from California to Vermont combine to make a perfect blend of functional AND beautiful handcrafted goods in this charming shop.
